mushy clon roots why ? is it from using the gel and the olivias solution ?

im a newbie also and im using a hydro medium we put the gel on the clippings and then later some guy said to use olivias cloning solution which how can we save these im trying to clip were they are getting mushy and just wait but 4 already died our hp is ok but our meter might be a pos. so im freaking out i cant let purple princess die i have 3 srans and i think its from putting that cloning solution in the water ... so do i empty the water out and redo it ??? can i save them??? its been 6 days no roots just mushy ends to the clippings and then death if i let the mushy stuff go up the root to the actual plant.

I've been cloning for many years and have been very successful. I have about a 2% failure rate. I clone in soil and rockwool using the Clone Kit. I don't use a cloning solution. It's not needed and if done incorrectly, the cloning solution can kill the cutting. Although my system works well, it takes about 2.5 weeks before I see root growth. I think that's longer then some people want to wait. The wait is not a problem for me, because I am always taking cuttings.
