The Difference Between Indica And Sativa

Sativa’s are known for their height and their leggy, often sparse leaves which are long and thin and trademarks of the sativa strain.

Effects: The sativa high is often characterized as uplifting, energetic and mostly cerebral. They give a feeling of optimism and well being, as wellas providing a good measure of pain relief for certain symptoms. A few pure Sativa’s are also very high in THC content. They are known to have a quite spacey, or hallucinogenic, effect. Sativa’s are a good choice for daytime medicating. Scientists at GW Pharmaceuticals, Britain’s legal med-pot research facility, have announced that Sativa strains are more effective at treating pain than Indica strains.

Indicas are known for their smaller stature. They are relatively short and bushy. Indica’s tend to grow wider and rounder than Sativa’s. Many look like small shrubs often tinged with purple.

Effects: The Indica highs are most often described as a pleasant body buzz. Indicas are great for relaxation, stress relief, and for an overall sense of calm and serenity. Indicas are also very effective for overall body pain relief, and often used in the treatment of insomnia and insomnia. A few pure Indica strains are very potent in THC, which helps in making the patient sleep.

Marijuana strains are available in the entire spectrum from pure Sativa’s to pure indicas, and every combination in-between. There are also Hybrids which are half Indica and half Sativa.

It takes some time and experimentation to find the most effective balance for each patient, but there is a medical marijuana strain available that will treat every aliment and all conditions.
:goodluck:
