Almost ready to go to the BLOOM tent.

Almost ready to go to the BLOOM tent.

I posted last week the same group of girls, only younger.amp;nbsp; I wanted to point out the rapid growth of the girls under HPS lamps.amp;nbsp; If compared to last week\' photo the height of the plants relating to the lamp and temperature sensors is large.amp;nbsp; They are well above the top most leaves of the young girls.amp;nbsp; As soon as the girls are moved to the 3 gallon pots I begin to feed the girls with the GROW nutrient mix.amp;nbsp; This week show the plants well above the lamp sensor.amp;nbsp; The sensor is that round black object, (used to be an old pathlight solar powered lamp) solar cell on the wall behind the plants on the right, (you can barely see it behind the plant).amp;nbsp; The girls have grown up past where the cell was mounted.amp;nbsp; It is so far below the plant tops my computer thinks I have a lamp fault because one of the girls is blocking the light to the cell.amp;nbsp; GEEZZ!amp;nbsp; I need to connect the sensor to the lamp directly to avoid stupid false alarms.amp;nbsp; (imperical testing is tedious at times)amp;nbsp; That way the plants can do cartwheels if they want, and I can raise and lower the lamp with little concern about affecting the function of the lamp sensor.amp;nbsp; [ok, this entry should have been posted in the lab note section.]amp;nbsp; I also wanted to mention the girls will soon be ready to move to the BLOOM tent where they will be fed their special diet during thei12 hour days.amp;nbsp; When they reach the top of the QA tag on the wall behind them they will be ready to go.amp;nbsp; They are right on schedule and are scheduled to be moved the 6th.
