I have been experimenting with various cloning methods and mediums to promote root development in fresh clippings. I want to be able to say MY crop is 100% organic from the day of conception. That is important to me even though I grow my crop for my own medical needs.
Hey! I'm not kidding about the HONEY used for cloning. I picked up a couple packets of honey down at Dennys when I had breakfast there last week. It is in the little carrier at the edge of the table by the wall stand where the Grape Jelly or Strawberry preserve packets are located. The honey jelly comes in little plastic, rectangular trays where you remove the peal off top. One of the honey packets will clone about 10 clippings. The nick & scrape method works here. I recommend you do both. I saw roots sticking out of the rockwool cubes in 4 days! I was startled at the speed.

Oh! Wait! - That would be me. What about my nose, you say? It's what?OH! Yeah, It's missing. I know that. I was in a hurry when I did it in the early 90s. I was looking for a picture of me to post on the internet that wouldn't repulse everyone who saw it. [OK that part is not true. The camera actually hates me.] I actually wanted a good picture but even the serious ones looked like a gag picture so, I opted for plan B. Trust me, I'm a 71 year old fart. There is nothing special to look at. Imagine your favorite movie star and insert picture there, if you feel driven. PS: The ICON which accompanys all my entries is magic. Really! Take a grease pencil and draw a nose of your liking on the screen where my nose would go if there were one there. If you close the screen and call up this e-mail again.
