I can't give you much advice but just wanted to wish you luck with the rest of your grow. your remind me of myself, incessantly checking up on my girls every few hours during the first stages of veg.
You have a couple of options with your water. Either keep using tap water but let it sit in...
Looking really great Canolove, all the plants are nice and bushy. Are you just going to top and let them grow, or maybe experiment with scrog / lst. I've been following munki's grow and the yield he's getting per plant with scrog is pretty epic.
Now that you have grown blue cheese will you keep with the theme and grow one of the mango, lemon or strawberry strains? You could start up your own fruit store.
You know you must be doing something right your plants are toppling because of their giant buds!
The colour of that blue cheese looks amazing, I just hope it smokes as good as it looks.
Silver Bullet has a nice ring to it. I must admit that I wasn't clever enough to work that out for myself at first though. It looks like you'll be able to decorate them with tinsel and call them Christmas trees in no time.
I'm not exactly a T5 expert but it sounds like you pretty much know what you're doing. The light from the T5's do not penetrate as much as a HID so spreading out the light to try and get it to cover the entire plant is a good idea.
For flowering you want light that is predominantly in the red...
Good for a first effort, it is definitely a learning experience!
If you are wanting to maximise yield from only a couple of plants then it could be worthwhile experimenting with LST or SCROG so that you get more bud sites and not just one big cola.
As BcBudz said you predominantly want 2700k...
looking good, DIY is definitely the way to go. Are you going to do a soil or hydro grow?
From reading around it appears as if mylar is the most reflective covering, only slightly better than flat white paint. Despite its appearance aluminium foil is worse than both.
Given a choice between t5 and hps then go the t5, I'm assuming your t5's are 6500k?
The only problem with t5 / cfl etc. is that they will not penetrate the canopy as well as a HID so you will need to better place them, but if you are just trying to get a bit of growth on your clones then they...
Read the comments of the video, it will tell you that the yield was 25g.
Growing in a PC case is a nice novelty but it'd probably be cheaper / easier to build a wooden box / grow tent and then just put that in a cupboard or under your desk. The problem with a PC case is that it is slightly too...
