I have to pull one tomorrow, the same problem, I found a few spots with mold I use the spray SAFER I bought that anti fungus spray in the hardware store and it works, at least it stops the mold.

I toped the Ladies before I set them out. The tall one is a sative and it still flowers, I hope she will bw ready before the first frost.
