I guess the main thing is don't be stingy with the amount of dregs and don't put too much new oil. 5-7 teaspoons (not grams) of the dregs with like 50 mls new oil.
If you make oil infusions, for example using the Ardent or oven, you can practically double your money's worth by re-infusing your already drained weed.
After I let all the cooked oil drain/sqeeze out I put the oily leftovers in a baggie in the freezer. I don't know if that makes a difference...
It shouldn't be hard but I know some people make it hard. Man, 6-7 months!! --that's a long grow. I only use garden soil and tap water. No additives except, 2-3 times during the grow, a very small amount of ordinary tomato fertilizer but I've also grown without the fertilizer. I don't know what...
Gelato Auto Oil Report:
Since I don't inhale weed I make oil which I use by the teaspoon full. I harvested 1.5 ounces dried and saved everything except the very largest fan leaves. So my harvest amounted to the 1.5 oz dried bud and about an ounce or so of sugar leaves, smaller stems and...
F you read above you'll see my post about how I make my oil. Basically 7 grams in 70 to 100+ ml of olive oil. Less oil for stronger, more oil for weaker.
My only experience has been with Crop King. I've ordered from them now and then over several years. I only have good things to say about them. I had one mistaken order it was resolved by CK immediately. The plants I've grown with their seeds have always reliably produced a worthwhile harvest...
Well, at the end of week 10 the Gelato Auto has been cut and hung to dry. I have to say that she was a fast finisher--9 weeks and she was ready to cut. That's very different from my usual grows that take 13-14 weeks.
So the speed of growth and finishing is a definite advantage for stealth...
One more photo for today---just wanted to show how curled and skinny my top leaves are. Like I said before the same thing happened with my WW. I believe this issue is caused by low humidity and too much dry heat at the top of my grow box. I fertilize with ordinary plant fertilizer 20-20-20 so I...
