I try to use at least 4x zoom and a natural background color not green and natural light, not direct sunlight as this makes the bud shiny from all the refraction from the trichomes.

Hash looks good, nice color. When you do what your doing are going to "Dab" it on a titanium nail or just smoking it like regular hashish ? I do not let the hash heat up to much when I do this prior to doing a Dab of hash as some of what I make turns out to be what some folks refer to as full...
