thanks , but still wondering do i have to harvest the whole plant? or just the top area and let the bottom buds grow?

lots of room for error here has i am a novice , but it is a very good article, i have 4 plants will harvest 2 early and 2 later , hopefully get a double hit! should i be trimming all the fan leaves around my buds?
