  • You commented recently on my post and it helped alot. But i have a question i found a CFL light and i just wonder if its good enough

Satco S7334 40 Watt (150 Watt) 2600 Lumens Hi-Pro Spiral CFL Soft White 2700K Medium Base 120 Volt Light Bulb, Energy Star

And i read this "When the marijuana reaches the flowering stage, you need a warm white CFL bulb to ensure its best state of health. If the light intensity is too strong, this might end up killing the plant even before it reaches the stage of harvest." so i wonder do i need different strength light for the different growing stages?

Yes that bulb would work but I suggest at least 2 of them. I see you can choose a 5000K so they will be ok for the veg cycle. When it comes to flower you don't "need" to change out the bulb but it is best if you swap out the 5000K bulbs for something closer to 3000K for flowering. They also show that you can purchase 2700K bulbs so they would be what you would change over to. Better yet... you would buy those bulbs and add them additionally with the 5000K when you enter the flower stage. The veg cycle takes about 6 weeks with autos (I think... never grew autos). So that gives you 6 weeks to save your money to buy the other bulbs for flowering.
