    Cannabis Powder

I found that frying maltodextrin is akin to cooking with sugar. Although maltodextrin is shown as a carbohydrate on packaging, it really is sugar and should be used in recipes with that thought in mind. In my case, I sprinkled it on prior to frying and it carmelized on me. Next time I will...

    Cannabis Powder

I just made my first batch of cannabis powder. I'm going to try it on scallops tonight. My brother told me about it a couple of weeks ago, so I read up on it, ordered Maltodextrin and made a batch of canna oil using olive oil (3 cups), vegetable lecithin (1 tbsp/cup of oil) and 3oz. of cannabis...

Spider Mite Control: The Mighty Persimilis

I'm surprised I left this post until #4. Spider mites have been the bane of my existence for years. I used to control the buggers with Aza Max until it became illegal to sell it in Canada. It worked for about a month before I had to reapply. I wouldn't use it in flower as I had no interest in...

That will be a project for early June on my return from Europe. My grow tent will be empty at that time. Thanks for the info, Celt.

Nice. I assume you're using 1000 watt? Any idea how long the bulb lasts? Looking to replace my clunky HPS lighting. I was considering going with 2x 1000 watt LED in my 2x4x4 tent. My brother uses just one 1000 watt LED and has been getting excellent results.

The soil I use for outdoor growing is the same as indoor growing, although my Dream doesn't like heavy neuts. According to the seed company, it likes basic soil with no additives. I do use Big Up powder with a couple of weeks to go, but otherwise nothing. I have built soils in the past and still...

Bees are our great pollinators and they can travel some distance from their hive, I imagine.

I often do 'quantities' of grinding at a sitting, then carefully go through it to extract the seeds prior to putting in a container. I'm currently running 3 main strains: Moonshine's Ghost Train Haze for daytime smoking, Blackberry Dream for night smoking and Critical Widow for edibles. I will...

From what little I've read, the quality of the cannabis is compromised by having seeds. Having said that, the quality of the outdoor plants still far exceeds anyhting I've been able to produce indoors.
