Hi, Have used one outside the room to eliminate odor. Worked well for that. Never read that they sanitize or kill mold. Damned thing only lasted a few months and quit Best of Luck!

Rosenthal's book states you can "ripen" faster by increasing the dark cycle times. Haven't tried it yet. If I do it will be in the last 2 weeks of flowering. FWIW

I have a similar size box. I started with a 4' x 6 bulb T5HO fixture. Not much heat. I now have a 400W HPS for flowering in the box. Not sure if I will get a Mh bulb for my next grow (veg) or put the T5 back in. I use cfl's on the sides/corners in both configurations
