If anyone is still interested: Good light. Comparable to 400 watt for sure, veg & flower. Worth the buy.
Serious light for a serious grower.
I got 3, so that is 600 watts actual from 6 different point sources, and all the light is projected downward so there is basically no loss on an...
Oh and it might have something to do with low light. Leaves under the canopy lose their vigour and can sometimes show various deficiencies. I assume that's because the plant is channeling the nutrients to the upper part of the canopy where there is plenty of light.
I think that's a potassium deficiency, not too sure, but check out the problem solver in the how to grow section on this website. I generally use something with closer ratios of P and K in flower. High P is used for root growth in veg, as I understand, without so much K. Anyway, those big box...
Seedlings don't need such intense light. And maybe use a MH or Conversion bulb, the blue light would be best now, but not necessary.
And remove the cups when the seedlings sprout up, so they can adapt to the wind and build some stem. They're likely to get some fungus in the moist environment...
No, you won't get high, maybe oxygen deprivation followed by a light buzz from the 0.1mg of THC you might be inhaling. You'd have to be a noob to smoking in order to feel anything worthwhile.
Yeah man, George knows his plants, I got the book right beside me, can't wait to meet him.
I would say, greenhouse at night, but give good ventilation to lower the humidity, not too late in the day though, you want some warmth inside before sundown. A big, black container of water will absorb...
Hey man, I've had that, happens a lot in the fall, especially with dense buds. Botrytis I believe it's called. You gotta clip of about 25-50% more bud than what was outwardly affected. Put that one plant away from the other plants and don't let it get wet. Keep watcing the other plants, check...
Oh, and no more transplanting. All stresses should be in the Veg cycle, and if someone tells you otherwise, it's an advanced technique and should be left to experienced growers.
Sorry, I've been away for a while.
You're all over the place. Just relax, and let things happen. I know everyone is telling you to do something or other, but you gotta hang tight, I would recommend starting new seeds while you wait for these plants.
If you're a science person, read...
Hey, you'll need something for the smell for sure! Once the flowers come in, everyone on the street will know you're growing. Carbon Filters are the standard odour remover, as I've seen anyway. Theres alway Ona gel, or Ozone Generators.
Haha, yeah, very good strain. Inexpensive, but it's top quality, with a very good yield. And the fruit smell is intense, not like any weed I've ever come across, I had bubblegum at that time and it didn't smell as good, though it did smell amazing.
I got the seeds from Luc himself, last year at...
Re: 1st Grow, Indoor Bagseed with CFL
That looks like nutrient burn to me. Seedlings need no nutrients at all.
It'll be a little slow. Flush it out, unless it's a slow release or organic, then you just gotta wait for it to get over the stress by itself.
