So my plants were 5 weeks in to flower lookin great. Then they went back to veg, growing new shoots off the buds. The only thing that changed was the heat got up to 95f for a day or 2. Could the heat be the cause? I've fixed the heat issue will they go back to flower? How will this affect...

I can only tell you what I do. I have a 400 watt ballast that runs both MH and HPS. I also have two 150 watt HPS. I use both HPS and MH for veg. When I swtch to 12/12 I continue to use MH until I see buds forming. Then I switch to all HPS.

I got a 400 watt dimmable ballast last grow. I like being able to lower the heat if needed and its great for gradually introducing stronger light to young plants.

Yea I've been using mason jars, I get a dozen 1 quart large mouth jars for about 6 bucks. I was mostly thinkin bout the stealth and longer term storage. You could fit a lot of bud in a gallon can:) Makes sense about the metal maybe affecting taste. Thanks for the replies guys.

Has anyone used New paint cans for storage? New clean one gallon metal paint cans cost under 5 bucks are light and air tight and pretty stealth if you peel off paint label from old can, maybe add a few drips to the outside of the can. What ja think?
