I've been running Co2 in my flower room with much success. I recently heard that you only want to use Co2 for the first three weeks of the flower cycle. Can any experience growers comment on this? Is this true?
Thank you for your time.:rollit:
Also, keep in mind that once the plant show signs of mildew they've already had it for a week. YOu might want to increase K potassuim and or add some silica (if you have not already), also using a beneficial bacteria would be advisable. All of these will help the plant to be more resistant to...
You can go to almost any hydroponic business and ask for a vaporizer, they run around 150.00 or so. They should also have sulfur as well.
The sulfur changes the PH of the leaves creating an uninhabitable environment for mildew to grow on.
As far as increasing he circulation, you could create...
Increasing circulation also helps to minimize the spread and growth of powdery mildew. I also recommend vaporizing sulfur as an effective remedy. GOod Luck
Per the posted request for more information when asking for advice, here is some more info on the plants that have been having problems in their leaves:
* What strain is it? Kushage in the pic; also Burmese Kush and Master Kush have been having problems, and Pineapple Punch is starting to...
This strain is Kushage. It started to show up after three weeks in flower cycle. Fortunately, the all over plant looks beautiful it is only one or two leaves that look icky. I treated it as if it was over fert. and flushed them for a couple of days and gave it a week off of intense fertilizing...
Do any growers use bio dynamic principals to cultivate your plants? Also, is this only possibly with outdoors grows?
I'm interested to hear your experiences.
Thank you for your time:grinjoint:
I'm considering doing SOG. This first time my plants grew really big and bushy. Which is a blessing, but I wasn't prepared for them to take up so much space. I had been pulling off smaller buds on the bottom branches to redirect the plants energy into the larger end cola buds. Which worked...
Sorry to not have clarified. "Bottom Branching" is the act of cutting away the bottom branches of your vegging plants. Once your plants are in the flower cycle the light does not penetrate far enough to hit the bottom branches.
The belief(I've heard) is that because it is not receiving light...
Thank you for your that. I know a lot of growing is based on individual preferences and ritual. Just trying to find my way in the midst of all that.
I do find it harder to grow the sativas indoors simply because they are a larger plant, which is why I think the SOG method is very appealing to...
It sounds like the "norm" in my circles to bottom branch your plants. Wondering is this done right before you flip them? Also, are there any rules to bottom branching your plants, and what are the affects?
Thank you for your time

I'm new to this forum, and growing as well...having said that, wondering if any of you experienced growers can shed some light as to what are some of the best strains to cultivate indoors?
I'm doing soil for now, hoping to move into hydro soon enough. I've got a beautifully big and spacious...
Curious, couldn't find much on "bush doctor" sounds like you have to check hydro stores mostly? Also does any one have any experience with fox farms,"big bloom"? I've heard good things about this, but not sure if I should change what I'm currently doing. I'm using GH(general Hydroponics)...
