i cant tell you for sure, as i have never done it. but another little tidbit that i have heard in my travels.
when doing auto's (which i feel would essentially be pretty much the same thing as 12/12 from seed as far as this is concerned) make sure you have either a) tons of bubbles so that it...
Re: This one has me stumped. Twisty new growth.
i had one do that before, ended up being a root issue.
mine was in DWC, so it was easy to spot, but perhaps something similar is happening?
if you dont mind spending a little money, maybe try to pick up some hydroguard (if you can get it in...
what are you looking for? taste? effect? ease of growing? yield?
its 100% personal preference.. dont really know what to tell you without knowing what you are looking for :)
take it one step at a time.
first, to plan when to flip, allow for at LEAST x2 of stretch. While some strains may end up bigger or smaller than that, its a decent rule of thumb.. you always want some wiggle room.
If need be, LST will help you out of a bind if you flip too late. or just do it...
as long as you can keep your buckets running well, it should out perform the soil method.
Its easier, but harder at the same time IMO.
if you make sure to do it 100% right as far as temps, air, nutrient strength, light proofing..... and run beneficial bacteria, or strive for a 100% sterile...
indeed. Myself i would wait. might have been a little early on the flush for your optimal yield, but its still got some nutrients left yet.
From what your pistils are showing, your in the ball park, but if all you see is clear, keep it growing for now. maybe even just feed it very lightly.
my...
what about venting and nutrients for later on?
i would like to follow this. I have always wanted to try a pc box. But i just cant seem to stray from HID :P
i have seen great results with lst, or topping. As long as she is healthy, you can do it whenever. some people top on the first node with success. (look up main lining)
if its your first time however, i would experiment with lst first. Less to go wrong from human error :)
if you feel something is lacking compared to others. the easiest solution is to copy them! :P
i would pick up a different nutrient and see what happens.
advanced nutrients, GH, botanicare, canna, etc are all tried and true.
my personal favorite is supernatural. its a little more pricey...
just be really careful when feeding and keep an eye out for new spots just to be 100% sure.
but either way, looks like all my lower leaves... im shaky.. :P
looks like you got her with some nutrients when you were watering :)
be careful to not splash her with nutrients and you shouldnt see any more spots.
i typically ignore any random spots similar to that unless it looks like its spreading and im 100% sure it wasnt me.
