Myself and others I know have had very good results with 25% Perlite, 25% Light Warrior, 50% Fox Farm Ocean Forest.

Would 2 400w be overkill? I originally planned on 1 1000w HPS...but I've been told that might be a bit much as well

After more research, it sounds like it is worth the $200 to get 2 300w instead of 1 600.

I have the AC unit sitting in the tent with the exhaust going outside the tent. Its set at the coldest setting and the fan is on high Without the AC, it was running at 100 degrees. To be honest I'm suprised it's so hot in there. I can hold my hand right under the light without any discomfort...

I like to go overboard with light, to make sure I'm getting the most out of my grow. As long as heat and everything else is under control, can you ever have too much light?

Long story, I'm changing my setup to a 4.5x4.5x7 tent. Which is better? I live in a hot desert climate where summers get 110 degrees FYI.
