Plus evaporation playing a big part in that too. As the water evaporates the build up of salts get stronger
Yeah good spotting ,
make sure you get rid of that runoff, you dont want the roots sitting in that and it will cause unwanted humidity
If my plants in coco looked over fertalized and my runoff ec was super high , id flush with correct ph 1/4 strength feed untill the ec came back in check then water daily with 1/4 strength nutes to decent runoff untill signs of needing more,
But , this is where its tricky , the 30l pots are...
Yeah strange times , ive never flowered a plant under a mh but theres no reason you cant ... just the light spectrum of hps is a bit better suited for flowering, um from memory i think i used to get around .5 to .7 gpw (grams per watt) under a 400w phillips son t hps but that is very grower and...
Not sure i fully agree with you chris, ive run into it a few times in coco if given wet dry cycles instead of watering daily to decent runoff they can build up salts and cause issues,
This might not apply to the op. But when re-using coco i find it absolutely necessary to flush it heavily...
Ahh thats good , did you veg with cfl's or the mh? You can swap the mh bulb for a hps now shes flowering , hps has a better spectrum for flower .. in saying that no one says you cant run your mh .. the thin wispy leaves in and around the buds are more a sativa trait, youve also got some big fat...
I had a problem germinating older slower seeds using rain water, they germinate better for me in tap water with chlorine in it , im from a warm climate and it keeps the bad bacteria away but most good seeds will get right on with it before any bad stuff can take hold , what about the soil your...
I think you should check the ec of the runoff , if its alot more than whats going in keep flushing untill its back close to your 1/4 feed ec ,
Just a tip look how much (n) is in your calmag, i use a different c + mg supplement for veg and flower might help
Have you checked the ec / ppm of the runoff , id be interested to know if its alot higher than whats goin in , the watering cycles and uncertainty between too wet and too dry can definitely lead to the coco holding on to too much salts and mess up all sorts of things
