Did this study use soil only in their assessment ? I run a RDWC system and have always been told to flush for 3-4 days. I use RO water with a root scaler (UC roots from Current Culture) for the flush. What's your take? Thanks

I use an Advanced Lighting XML650 which takes the place of a 1000w HPS. I have had great success with this light. Less heat, power usage and lasts longer than HPS. They're not cheap but worth it. I also have a Current Culture system XL4 that I love!

CC says it's a 30 gallon system but if you put 30 gallons in the system, the water level is halfway up the net pot. I guess about 22 gallons is all I need which means the PPM schedule should be adjusted? I never understood how the system required 30 gallons when it raises the level over the net...

I run with a 4 unit current culture system and am in veg right now. My water level is about half way up the net pot. So you think running water through the top of the net pot doesn't really do anything? Thanks for the reply!
