Hi nibec, thanks for your reply post. where can I Dolomite Lime? And what does it do / how does it work? And how do I know how much to use? I'm going to read 420's info about grow journals now & see if I can upload some photos etc now I've changed my proxy settings...
Week 2 of vegetative growth... wondering if I'm experiencing Mag def due to 'lock-out' already. How can I bring soil PH down to 6.0-6.5 & maintain...? :Namaste:
KeepitSimple... I'm in week 2 of vegetation, my girls are approx 1/2ft high, very green (mostly), lots of new growth, bushing out, leaves getting bigger... & I just dropped the yo-yo's yesterday so that the lights are about 1.5ft above the tallest plant... the main thing that I've noticed over...
Hey HomeMed... I take that back about the SNS217... it's got some glowing reports on here! I like HogDaddy's description of his observations post SNS217 spray:
My Experience Using Sierra Natural Science Spider Mite Spray
I'll see how I get on with the Neem oil & the plant based liquid soap now...
Hey Twinkie, thanks for the Neem oil post. Wondering what mix you put together... I ask because I seem to have the beginnings of a spider mite problem... I'm a first time grower & into week 2 of vegetation... most of the grils are just over a foot tall now (will post some pics this week, over...
Hi HMG, thank you for your thoughts / advice. I didn't read your post last night until after I'd completed the foliar spray... I made a mix of 2 small tsp of Epsom in boiled water, then laet the water cool to look warm & PH tested before I sprayed them (PH was just under 7.0, probably 6.9.) I...
My girls have developed a Magnesium deficiency over the last 2 or 3 days... evident by the leaves. I've tested the soil PH this morning & it's 7.25-7.3. I'm wondering whether this is a little on the high side & should really be 6.5 ish for optimum Mag absorption from Nutes? I have some PH down...
Re: Humidity only 22%. first time grower.
KeepitSimple... you'll be so pleased you did. I just picked up a £10 lamp with bendable arm & then got a green spotlamp bulb... it's perfect... & a really nice mellowing end of day experience when you get in from work, have a little smurf & get cocooned...
Re: Humidity only 22%... first time grower...
Hi IceMud,
Thank you for you post. I'm not going to do the wet towels thing (I removed one yesterday I'd put in there after being advised to) because this increases the risk of mould etc. And if you think about it... you wash towels in...
Re: Humidity only 22%... first time grower...
I use a low level green light to work in my grow room after lights out... feeding, watering, foliar spraying, cleaning up the floor, inspecting the leaves with my scope etc... my understanding is that green is the only colour from the spectrum that...
Re: Humidity only 22%... first time grower...
Hi shottafire... it's drops as low as 19% during the day... way too low... causing leaves to yellow, crisp up & curl up... recommended optimum humidity range is 40-60%... no more, no less. I've put a dish of tap water in there for now but it did...
Re: Humidity only 22%... first time grower...
KeepitSimple... thank you so much for coming back to me again. The tea towel is clean but I hear what you're saying about mould... got me to thinking about the detergent molecules that may be trapped inside some of the fibres of the tea towel & how...
