I can tell you being a bay area resident that on new years cops ownt do anything about a medical marijuana patient smoking pot.they will be cracking down on drunk drivers,not on pot.

Re: Tobacco in a joint I love tobbaco in my joints. You don't need it for blunts, but 70% weed 30% tobacco makes your joints burn slower and more evenly. Plus, they cherry after the first light and stay that way as long as you can smoke them. Also, tobacco has a more even consistency than weed...

My friends and I always share our stuff so it's never been an issue. However, if you don't have any weed, it's impolite to bring up "smoking another bowl" or anything like that.
