I had no idea there were restrictions on the legal strains available in Canada. After a little searching I found this article that does a pretty good job of explaining the matter. Obviously Canada needs to address this situation sooner than later.

I hope the Cramer's settle for modest monetary compensation for their humiliation and a hugely public (in-person, newspaper, radio and TV) apology.

That amount of debt requires the taxation of more cannabis than is grown in the US in 10 years. I applaud the initiative but damn they need to do...
The commissioners' decision was within their purview but it was not appropriate. While this suggestion is after the fact, the law should be amended to allow a probationary period of time for a Cannabis business after an infraction as long as the infraction is minor enough.

The first thing that comes to mind is the designated driver program which resulted from consuming a much worse substance - alcohol in bars.
