Is anyone doing a true CGE grow?

My mini split needs 240v so the CHHC-4 will not run it. I think the power restriction on it is 15 amps. I control the mini split with its own internal thermostat. I currently run the dehuy, co2 burner, and fan 9in the cooling/heating socket) on the CHHC-4. I do not use a digital controller to...

Why do my "different" strains look the same?

In my experience yes bud can and will change its charicteristics when cured for the proper amount of time. To me it sounds like your following the proper procedures. When I was growing on a smaller scale I did the jar method myself with great results. With that being said. No amount of curing...

Why do my "different" strains look the same?

My first suspicion would be that someone got careless, and your 5 different strains are really all the same strain. I grow 7 different strains right now using the same soil, nutes, etc and there are no similarities other than the fact that they are all marijuana. In my few years of growing I...

Is anyone doing a true CGE grow?

Hey this thread is kinda old but I thought I would update it a little. I have moved, and constructed a 16x12x8.5 sealed room inside my new garage. I framed the walls with 2x4 and covered them in 1.5" rigid insulation on the walls and ceiling. I have covered the seams with aluminum sided tape and...

Undergrad's Perpetual Grow 5.2k Watts of Air Cooled Fun!

It actually turned into a comeplete disaster. I could not afford the air conditioner and the room stayed consistently way too hot. It also turned out that the sour diesel was inferior genetics, neither sour, nor diesely.. This will sound crazy but I'm 65% done with a new room at a new location...

Hey everybody its been awhile but heres a quick update. I have been having a few troubles with some babies. It could be PH, it could be the thripes' I found. I am going to check the runoff tomorrow, and I sprayed with Azamax tonight for the thripes'. Here are a couple pics of the offending...

    Troubles in Veg - Pics

Kdogsgirls I have photos in the journal link I posted up top but I looked and essentially that is correct, although the grow shop recommended not attaching directly to the filter but using a small piece of ducting between the 2. This is a reputable shop ( wholesaler in the area) and they know...

No runoff ph till I feed again. It's been 6.8-7.0 when I feed them. Soil is roots organics, no on the dolomite lime. Feeding tonight probably so I will have some PH numbers for the runoff.
