Apollo Horticulture manufactures 3 bulbs in the 250w size.

2700k - red spectrum
6400k - white/blue spectrum
2100k - grow and flower

I've read many post stating you use the 6400k from seedling-veg and switch to the 2700k for blooming/flowering.

What is the 2100k for?

2700k is more orange spectrum than red but has some.

2100k is on par with hps bulbs & would suggest it has better red spectrum of light which is far better for flowering under !

The 2100k can be used in both flowering and veg as it is almost identical to a HPS bulb from what i've been told. I purchased one and am testing this theory now. If it doesn't work out all that great I plan to add a second 250w Apollo and swap the bulbs or maybe mix a 2100k and 6400k for veg and swap to a 2400k and 2100k for flower.

You can follow along below, it's my first grow, but i'm not completely noob I do have some experience. Just my first personal grow :)
