Asking landlord about indoor medical grow?

Hey I have been wondering whats the best "word usage" when asking your landlord about growing your meds indoor or outdoor?

99.9% of landlords will not let you grow state legal or not, they face losing their property knowingly letting a grow go on due to federal law.
