depends on what your charged for power and what stage of growth your in. Mine added $15.00 a month durring the flower stage. Others report more and some report less. I'd say that $10.00 to $20.00 per month more just for the light would be a good average to go with.

Example if your paying 06. per kilowatt hour:
A 1000 watt bulb on 24 hours a day for 1 month will cost $43.20
18/6 will cost $32.40
12/12 will cost $21.60
A 600 watt bulb on 24 hours will cost $25.92 a month
18/6 will cost $19.44
12/12 will cost $12.96
A 400 watt on 24/0 will cost $17.28 a month
18/6 will cost $12.96
12/12 will cost $8.64

definately good stuff there ..... i run 2 400's in flowering on a 12/12 it runs me $35 monthly.....

Running 2 1000s, 1 400w and 11 32w kills me plus the a/c. I kinda wish I did not know.lol

LOL Guess ur right. I have a lot more lights but will not use them because of the power consumptions and bulbs. The life of a bulb used for growing is not long and needs replacing quite often. About every 6 to 9 months depending on how long it is used. Next light I buy will be LEDs.

before my 2 400 watters my bill was around 60 a month. now with the lights its (on Average) $170.00 it hurts but with as much pot as i smoke i spend less on electricity than i would if i had a dealer......

WOW! My 1000watt HPS and fans raised my bill about $80.00 and I'm running more watts and amps for lighting. I thought about taking down the 1 light and putting up a 400hps and a 400mh but after reading your costs...screw that!topher82 said:
