) when I thought to check out clinicaltrials.gov (a US National Library of Medicine website). To my surprise, there are 730 studies listed from a search for "cannabis." Many of these have already been completed - but many have not! If you live near San Diego (the Center for Medicinal Cannabis Research is at UCSD) or Baltimore (Johns Hopkins), you'll find more opportunities. But that list has studies from various locations in the US and in other countries.
