Burnt top nug

it looks like the main cola/the bud at the very top is starting to burn. All the leaves curl up, theyre very brittle and dry.

The plant is almost done budding should i just cut that off to give the good looking buds at the bottom more attention.?

hard to say without any pics. Have you been able to check the color of the trichomes to see how close it is to be ready for harvest? How long has it been flowering for?

it has been flowering for over 6 weeks now but the nugs are not that big, and there are plenty of red hairs everywhere

what the big questioin is: if i cut the top nug of will it benefit lower nugs or only make budding them longer.?

If i cut the top nug off will it stunt/slow down growth for other nugs or will it speed it up?

u might stress it you might not, i had trouble like this a while back and i just left it but moved it away from the light as much as poss so it's didnt effect any other bits of the plant.

It's up to you mate trial and error.
