I am trying to make sensors to detect vehicles (not deer) at gates and be able to alert mobile devices..
The arduino is very versatile for many aspects of all farming.. not just cannabis

Actually yes you can pm me if you like. One could use a raspberry pi 3 with a gprs module and i have one. it will sms you it only costs 80 a piece but im sure you could do an infrared circuit with the pi as well.
