I need to take some clones soon. I think i will let the mothers grow some more b4 i start taking cuttings. Ill get some clones from the OG Kush and the OC's when i do some trim maintenance. Ill put some pics up of the new clones tonight or tomorrow. Until then heres some updated pics of the ladies.

Heres a close up of how thick and bushy the OMG is(sorry its sideways lol).

The OC's don't look much different at first glance because they grow in all directions instead of mainly up like the others. If you compare this latest pic with the last one with that in mind i think they've grown another 1/4 as big as they were.

Well i took those clones and trimmed up all the ladies. This time i wanted to try my hand at cloning with grodon cubes. Ill include a solo of each plant as they stand.

Showtime, man looks like u got your ducks in order, I am new to the site and your journal, read every last line of it so far. Your girls are looking awesome! I like to see hydro grows like this one! I have a small hydro set up, areo & dwc. I have a few questions, hope that's ok, trying to gain all the knowledge I can. First one is, y are your mothers growing in soil when u are using hydroponics for veg & flowering. Next is how big does a plant have to be before it can be cloned? Another one is, on your cloned bucket, what size pump are u running? Hope all continues to grow great for you hope u don't mind me sitting in on this one.

No problem man and to the site and my journal. If you seek knowledge then you came to the right place in this site people are very knowledgeable and helpful and usually if you have a problem theres somebody on here that has an answer. So anyway to answer your questions; The mothers are in soil simply for ease of maintenance, if they were in hydro id have to change the water weekly, use more nutes, get another air bubbler, ect... and with soil i can control the size the plant gets with the size of the pot as i don't want the mothers to get very big. As far as how big the mother has to be, id say as long as it has healthy growth sites, and obviously not when it has 1 or 2, I'm just waiting until they are large and healthy enough that taking a couple clones wont bother them much. And lastly its a 375 gph pump that i got from ebay for $15 and it works great. And the more the merrier on my thread man, Thanks for the good vibes

Alright today I'm gonna feature the OG Kush and the flower girls. The OG is looking really good and I'm pretty happy with how its turned out after all the bending iv done on it. Early on i was worried that i had snapped the main branch to much for it to come back, but it def did, lol, and ill include a pic of what that looks like now. I wanted to keep the hight down so it would stay even with the other plants and keep it spread out so the whole plant would get even light.

Next the OC's. They've been in 12/12 for 6 days now and iv just spotted the first couple hairs I cant wait till these girls start flowering. Sorry the pics aren't that great, iv been using my phones cam for all the pics in this journal and these pics are on macro focus 4x zoom so they aren't that great but all the pics are decent for a phone i think.

Sweet dude, that og healed up nicely! Thanks for answering my question. Makes prfect sense. What size pots are u keeping the mothers in? How big will the mothers get? How long have u been growing? I am about 8 weeks into my first grow, I should start a journal. My three are only about 10-12" my room was on average about 90 degrees. But I have now fixed that problem and have an average temp under the lights of abut 72 degrees. Your pics look awesome for being taken with your phone. What kind of nutes are u using? Do u add any extra stuff to your water? Have a good one hope to see some more pics soon!

Really i don't know what size the pots are lol, they're not very big though, I got them at home depot for like a buck a piece. I'm not sure how big they will get but probably not more than double the size they are now because i know those pots are stuffed full of roots as it is. Iv only been growing for a couple years but with the colossal depth of knowledge that is the internet and the countess hours iv spent researching over that time i think iv read everything there is to read on the subject lol. I use general hydroponics flora 3 part right now but as soon as that stuff runs out i want to give organics a try, probably advanced nutrients iguana juice although its kinda pricey so maybe something els. The only other things that go in the water are Ph down in certain stages and sweat leaf from advanced nutrients which is a bloom booster like carbo load or bud candy. And def get that journal going, id like to see what you got going on over there, plus its the best way to get help and guidance on your grow.

Sounds good Showtime, I am using AN sensi grow it's a 2-part system. When I switch my lights gonna use sensi-bloom. I am thinking about doing a full AN line-up of products. Including voodoo juice, piranha & tarantula, just to name some. Have used any of those products? I have heard rave reviews about them all! Suppose to blow your root growth up. I have been happy with AN so far. Gonna run it by the misses, can't be cool if she doesn't approve. Another question is have u ever ordered seeds online? I live in a spot not easily to get clones, or good seeds. Just trying to get some good strains to help with pains. Looking good!

Iv only used gh(except the sweat leaf which is an) but like i said i think I'm gonna try an products after my current ones are gone. And i have ordered seeds online, after a bunch of research on which sites were reliable(didn't want to get ripped off) i went with nirvana seed shop. It has some good strains and decent prices. I got fem AK 48 which is a great strain because it is resilient, forgiving, doesn't get to tall, has a good yield, and has some serious knock down power. I got the beans about 2 weeks after i ordered them. Also iv heard that the attitude seed bank is good. Good luck on seeds man.

Last night i moved the OMG and the OG Kush into the flower room and did a complete water/nute change for all the girls. They're all looking great hope you enjoy. And sorry the pics are blurry, i forgot my phone/camera was on macro focus from the close up pics.

Showtime, things are going good for you, at least it looks that way. The clones from the last update, did u root them in your cloned before sticking them into the cubes? Or did u cut and stick? What kind of cloning solution do u use, If any? I like the humidity dome you created. I will have to copy suite when I get to cloning. How big is your flower room and your veg room. Looks like you got a lot of space to grow. Kudos to u for that! I have one 8 sq ft cabinet right now hoping to finish 3 if they are female. As far as the mix up of the light bulbs, did u catch it before they were shipped? Will they trade trade for the right ones? U must have been medicated... Good luck dealing with that

Thanks turbo, and km, i soaked the cubes in phed water then stuck the clones in with juicy roots cloning gel from an, the room was approx 10x10 and i split it down the middle so about 10x5 on each side(basements are the shit). I didn't realize the bulb mistake until they got here but they will refund or exchange, i have to pay shipping though. And yeah i might have been medicated in one way or another lol. Oh and those clones, I'm thinking about doing them in soil. Iv never finished in soil so id like to diversify my experience i guess you could say and give it a try. Also id like to compare them with the dwc I'm doing now for quality and yield. Ill use the same nutes and lights so it would be a pretty good fair comparison.

Iv been watering the mothers every 3 days. They were looking especially dry on the third day this time so i think I'll have to water them every 2 days now if i don't want them to be thirsty. Between last night when i watered them and tonight when i checked on them they grew 3 or 4 inches! Probably the biggest jump they've made in one day. The veggers are growing like crazy and the flower girls are looking great. I should start seeing some buds pretty soon on the OCs as they are looking pretty thick and bushy at the bud sites.

Everything in the veg side is growing so fast i can hardly move the lights up fast enough. Iv had to move the mh up 4 times this week! Starting to see some semblance of buds on the OC's I never told you guys but my gf named all the plants lol. The OC on the right is Sherberta and the one on the left is Twin. Whatever you call them they are beasts and i cant wait to see what they yield. In one of the pics I'm holding sherberta's skirt up so you can get a look at her goodies
