1,500 cannabis plants and a quantity of cannabis herb with a potential street value of €900,000 have been seized in Co Tipperary.
Gardaà made the find during the search of a business premises in Borrisokane on Main Street in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The combined potential street value of this seizure is around €900,000, according to the gardaÃ.
The premises had been renovated into a sophisticated cannabis growing factory and extensive lighting/heat and ventilation systems had been installed. Incubation and potting rooms were also.
A large amount of cultivation paraphernalia was found on the premises.
No arrests have been made.
