Gravity!

For every foot water falls down a pipe it gains 1/2 a pound of PSI. (pounds per square inch) If you run a pipe/copper or PVC tube, etc. up to the top of the room (assuming your room is ten feet tall, and have your RO unit close to the ground,) you will gain an extra 5 PSI. If you can run a line up 20 feet up and then back down to your RO unit then you will gain an extra 10 PSI for just the cost of some tubing! It makes no differance what size the line running back down is. It could be just 1/4" or as large as 10". It makes no dif! PSI is PSI in the water column.

Say you have only 80 PSI coming into your place from the meter and are thinking about investing in another expensive unit because you cant fill up your res. all the way. By running a 20' length of pipe up and down you would have 90 PSI at your RO inlet. More clean water for your grow room! ROs work better with more PSI.
