Hi
I build my own clone maschine, one with only water and an airpump.
Are the clone stems in the water or above ?
Thanks

Hi ilikebike
Before I spent money I give it a try with that what I have in the house, mostly garbage
exept th pump.
You might laugh but let's see what comes out of it.

It should work it might take a little longer. But what the hell. Think about it< When you take a cutting from a house plant. The kind Moms and Grandmas have. You take the cutting and put it in a glass of water. Now tell me why you cant do it with my girls. Come to think about it Im gonna try it for shits and giggles. In theroy it should work. With a lil asprin. LOL. I like the cloner it ashould be fine.

I clone normaly in soil and this was only a project to see if a setup like that works.
And after 11/2 weeks the clone showed roots and is in a 1 gallon pot now.
Thanks

In the article it states to have the water level 1 inch below net cups. Which makes much more sense being that the bubbles have a space to break and create an aerated mist on to the stems.

You are right, that is maybe why that clone took one and a half week to develop roots.
Now I am working on a propper one with about 12 sites.
