CO2 during Veg?

You can use it during veg, they will grow a lil faster because their metabolism will be augmented, but you dont need to. Using it in veg will make them drink A LOT more water. Save it for flower would be my friendly suggestion :surf:

I honestly havent used c02 in my own personal grows but i've seen it used in my non-forum's friend house. It doesnt have to be the day they going into 12/12 but starting towards the end of their initial stretch and you will be just fine :surf:

well after your 30 hrs dark period, you can start c02 from the first day of 12/12.. Different growers will tell you different things. Just find which suits you better and which you have better results with, like i said my friend doesnt start til stretching is almost done (about day 20) or until he sees tons of pistil porn, while some ppl use it 3/4 weeks in, some in veg, some ppl only last few weeks.

co2 in a normal room is about 300 ppm.. you're going to want it at 500ppm and to peak @ 1500 ppm..

In some situations it is worth adding CO2 during veg. It all depends on your circumstances.
If you have a CO2 generator or a cheap method of producing CO2 then adding it during veg will produce bushier plants and will allow you to run at a higher operating temp.

If your temps are normal and your using a bottle to supplement CO2 then I would suggest waiting until flower.

Yes, run it on veg. From sprouting until harvested.
I did one with out it and this last one with it and there is a huge difference in how fast I can get my plants out of veg and into flower.
If you have it why not use it. IF your room runs hotter than 80 degrees your plant will like it because plants with Co2 thrive at hotter temps. Keep humidity under 50%.

Yeah i just read for every 100 ppm you go above 500 you allow temp to go up 1 degree. assuming your not on the high (too hot)side allready.

I use 2 x 2 liter water bottles with yeast and sugar mix..each has hose directly above the plants...I use them in flower side for 12 hours then drop em into my veg room for 6, saves wasting the CO2 when lights are off in flower room and gives a little boost to the veg room when temps might peak...bp

i normally peak at about 1800 or so in flower .... i have never used it in veg but it seems like it could work i just dont want my plants to be too lanky ....by stretching from the co2 .

im just starting my crop and possibly someone could verify if this is a good idea?

i have large bottles of co2 and was thinking when the room peaks in temp have my injection system go off for say for 2 hours, during this time the vent fan will shut off to maximize the c02 content, i was thinking about doing this twice a day..... and thoughts?

not a bad idea but you need to regulate the ppms in the room of co2 if you give it too much they will def. die

i agree completly, basically i would have to dial the co2 bottle's regulater in so the room stays at at around 800-1000 ppm, shoudlnt be too hard with a c02 monitor i think.
