Cree to Sell Its Lighting Products Business Unit: Cree Lighting

I just read that Cree intends to sell its entire lighting division to Ideal Industries, Inc. for $310,000,000. This will allow CREE to grow its Wolfspeed Power and Radio Frequency Division (which, ironically, Cree tried to sell in 2016, lol, but regulators blocked the deal), and it shows that Cree is serious about concentrating on things such as silicon carbide technology.

You can read about it here:

And here's an article from last month discussing the earning reports of Cree, Philips Lighting, Hubbell Lighting, and Eaton lighting, in case anyone here is interested in such things:

And this is the website for LEDs Magazine, a free publication:

There's generally at least one horticultural-related article (remember that this magazine is geared towards the industry, not the end-user, so while you can read about new (and potential) technology... they won't have gardening tips ;) ) in each issue, and there's a section on its website where articles of this nature can be found. Seems like the kind of magazine you might pick up out of boredom whilst waiting on your turn to see the dentist - then conveniently "forgetting" to put back on the table because you ended up being interested in reading. You can read them on the website.
