Do you perform a ritual or prayer before harvesting?

Hello,

I'm a first time grower and today is harvest day. I looked at my plants and thought that it would be wrong to chop them down without uttering a word of thanks to the weed gods. I just wondered if anyone here felt the same, and what rituals do you perform before taking down your crop?

Haha. Yes I do.
I thank the weed gods and leave some popcorn nugs on the tree to die with the plant. It's just my thanks.
