Fighting back in Solano

John & Leona Benjamin of Birds Landing in Solano County are 2 of many
patients in the county who has been wrongly arrested, thrown in jail
and had their medicine confiscated. This oh so familiar story from
Solano County ends today in triumph. Today at the Fairfield
courthouse Judge Elly dismisses charges against The Benjamins. The
Benjamins had been arrested in October of 2005 and like many other
patients, they have been waiting as the courts dragged out their
cases month after month. The Benjamins are relieved that the
nightmare is finally over and now they get continue on with their
lives. Congratulations to you both for your victory.

The arresting and terrorizing of patients in Solano County has gone
on long enough. Its time for Solano County to start respecting the
law like every other county here in the Bay Area does. I truly feel
that the protest and demonstrations has been effective in our county.
The treatment of patients' is no longer a tucked away secret of
Solano County. It is now time for the county to take a stand and
start protecting the patients. This Tuesday morning September 26th @
8am, the County Board of Supervisors will be voting on whether to
implement the Medical Marijuana I.D. card program. This card program
is very crucial for the patients of our county. If the county starts
issuing cards to the patients, then they can no longer tell people
that medical marijuana is illegal and a scam in our county and
arresting patients won't be an option anymore. Having the card
program will tell the citizens of Solano County that Solano County
now respects the medical marijuana laws. Until then, all the
patients will have to continue to hide and live in fear of being put
in jail.

I invite all activist and supporters to please join us at this
important meeting in Fairfield. (only 45 minutes East of San
Francisco & 45 minutes west of Sacramento) I have posted a formal
invite here 淫らすぎる風俗
We are asking all supporters to come out and speak to the board on
the importance of the card program and how it will protect the
patients. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
