Folier Feeding Buds & Leaves .

What to spray on them, when & how often, and should one concentrate on Buds or leaves? Right now i just spray the whole plant with clean tap water (sometimes rain water) not so much to soffocate it and i do it 3 - 4 times a day. Also i shut off the fan to keep it from evaporating too quickly and to keep surface temps from dropping too low. Am i even close? As much feedback as possible would be great, :thanks: :cheer:

Re: Folier Feeding Buds & Leaves . . .

once the buds get of any size don't spray them. as a matter of fact don't folier feed after about 2 weeks in budding. If you must do it to actually give the plant a corrective dose for any nutriant lacking, but nix the water spray consentrate on air and light/ Water can flush needed plant nutrition out of plant when applied to leeves, thats why it's one of the steps to treat chem burning from over feeding. Good Luck

OH! OMFG, good goly i have been spray'in the crap out of'em, ahh jeeez, live and learn i guess good thing i cought that early on thanks great info specialy on treatment on chem burn +reps

i lost my plant from folair nute burn. live and learn is right. i learned.
she was outside too. i was able to salvage 6 clones from the bottom stems.
they are doing awesome and have already have nice root formation.
and will be transplanting soon. i still have a nice x-mas tree shaped bush of northern light outside. i have to wait till the end of sept though she just started budding. hairs everywhere now. good luck

when its 98F out its hard think its defiecent, and w/ 13 hours of sunlight (outdoor)
she's hasnt quite hit the 12 hour mark. i spray her w/ co2 water only.
selzer ph is approx. 6.8. she loves it. but i will stop as soon as she buds. she so hairy. (like 70's porn hee hee).
my indoor plants are on 12/12 and lookin beautiful. dark greenand white chrystalized. i wanna sample a stem but dont wanna lose yield, (got to be patient.) the only difference is the outdoor is 4 feet taller and my be oct. before harvest. i do not folair the indoor plants at all. sent it to the roots only. then flush w/ spring water.

i was just throwing some information out there.
i know the med is ph
my tap water is 5.0 sping water is 6.8.
i like to know the ph of what i add and drainage as well as the soil.
my ph is always between 6.1 and 6.8
i also ph test water and nutes mixed
thats what i do. some people just ph test the med. im just really a ph fanatic.
some do it differently. i dont care as long as my plants are producing, healthy and i see it on a daily basis.:peace:

I've got at least 60 grows under my belt and I still learn something new just about every day and I still consider myself a newbie! When a person thinks they know it all and refuses to listen to advice and suggestions is when they run into problems. Even the newest grower might have the missing piece to the puzzle.
Keep reading, asking questions and offering suggestions. It's how we all learn and grow.:cheesygrinsmiley:

thank you.
i couldnt agree more.
im a profesional HVAC/refridgeration and electrician. but im diabled now. but i would still learn things. we never stop learing. ever. until we go senile or die.
but 60 grows wow. you must have alot of knowledge. so ill definitly be reading your posts.
i love my new hobby and will do my best to learn.
knowledge is a powerful thing.
thanks again about the ph thing.
ill be in touch and post ask questions whenever im not sure.
have a great day
