Good strainsfor a first time grower?

My friend has Kushberry & Red Deisel seeds, Im really only planning to have one or two plants in my garden are these good plants for outdoor growing or for a first time grower? Or can someone reccomend a good strain? Im more interested in quality than huge yields.

I live in B.C if climates a very big factor with either strain.
