Grow didn't go as I expected: what to do?

Get the F1 you want and if it doesn't turn auto... it doesnt mean much but breed again to the auto parent.

Then from there it should get easier

This is what i am trying to do.
I get the f1 non turn auto.
I keep breed back
F1male with f1 female to get the f2.

This pictures is where about i am in my plan to breed.those offspings i expect will have 25% autoflowering.then i will use about 40-50 small pots under 18/6 and find out the autos.
Till then i read and chat and talk about it to make my next move.

The thing is want you to think about is this is like people. Genetics is the same all plants and animals.

So not to be racists...but.

An Auto is a special kind of breed. You want from one of those to make many mostly like that are almost identical. That is your goal. Not different...but almost identical to the original with only a few minor changes really.

So let's call that a "Japanese" plant. And you are mating it with a Rusian first.

You took Russian x Japanese and crossed that with a Turk and also crossed it with an Egyptian.

Then you took those and crossed them with an Italian and a Cuban.

And then want to cross those 2 ...and get a Japanese.

That is not how it works.

That is rather uncontrolled.

I explained 2 ways to possibly pull an auto Male early to get pollen. That is how we do this.

The key to creating your own auto line is getting an auto Male you can line breed onto that is not an F1 cross to begin with. Otherwise you have to get a weak Male and do it a few times to create a strong Male.

(it will be years before I have an answer I have proven myself in my tent and by then somone shall have beaten me) But I intend on doing this myself. I was going to start next summer...but I may not have the time. And it isn't legal for me as I can only grow 4 plants so I have to do it outdoors in the forest next door sort of. Or at least that's what I say.

I will send you my plan and a few optional plans when I get around to it.

What you are doing is hard to recover from genetically. When you put down 10 seed what comes up? 5 males, 5 females hopefully...are they at least growing at the same rate? Do they all look to be about the same indica x sativa mix or are some more one way than the other?

I would be surprised if where you are at is at all reasonably stable.

Maybe i must go to school for english coz we cant understand each other.
The whole internet artickles about breeding are wrong .?

If it was easy for me to get auto male pollen i wouldnt make that thread...
I would have a grow journey with autos.
It is very easy.i ve done it before.

I have 4 laidies here from 8 total i breed.those are the F1.
Just wonder which F2 plant seeds to choose to get the next (f2) generation.
I notice 2 of them smell nothing.
Other 2 have a nice smell...i want to mature a bit more to can indentify the smell..i see compare the pot (roots) with the rest if the plant and the yield is satisfied.
So now yield and aroma will transfer to the f2 generation.
I hope the 40 small pots i will use to get some autos...if not i wil keep doing but i will also by colloidial silver and some autos to get male pollen .Then maybe i can use colloidial silver to one of f3 .

This one have nice smell,nice yield compare the pot AND a Very important thing she has so small pot and the internodes have so small distance between them and this give more buds leaves branches full of flowers....
This one is nice mu first choice till now.
Waiting to mature to see if any more traits appears..
I would like to get more resin...more white sticky leaves...it needs time.i hope the potency to be satisfied 2.

I think this is the in fifth week since turn 12/12.it is sativa dominant so at least it needs 5 more weeks but i will chop some earlier to have some smoke.almoat finish.

Hi. half of the plants are almost ready.untill finish this process i get some autoflowering seeds to get a male using this.....

Ok....i decide..those 2 look and smell very nice..i see potency is good enough.
It looks to me like the weed i grow from paid seeds.from leaves i can say it mostly indiga as her parents as i love it...i think those 2 mothers is good for now ..
I harvest 3 of the breeding ones but i wasn't happy with any of them..those 2 i like very much the smell..
Tjere are 5 more..if i find anyone more to get some seeds i will upload...

Here are some buds with less seeds on or not seeds on..those buds shows me how the plant develop when no pollination it.
Looks smell good...the smell is familiar ...

I choose already some seeds...o collect them and put them in a box coz its different strains..
Some from the seeds i breed and some from the seeds i bought to use them for photoperiod.
I hope the offsprings from tje seeds i breed ,the f2 generation to have some auto's...if not back cross again while trying colloidial silver.

The tall one have a nice and hard colas..the other one isnt so tight the.colas....

At the one photo u see the rest of the plants waiting to harvest..in one of them as u see in another photo i found two seeds in a sack with pistills on.. strange..
The place i spot them are in the place where plants shows their sex.
