Is it possible to grow outside in the country and avoid crosspollination with domestic weed?

i believe that cannabis can only be breeded with another cannabis plant, and from what i have been told about pollination outdoors, is that if there is a male plant within 3 miles, that it could possibly pollinate your lady!!!
