Help! is my plant to close to the light?

I have one plant under 400w hps it got too tall and I cant raise the light any higher, it's about 5 weeks in flower. the leaves are still green and don't show any signs of burning but I'm worried about the trichomes will they burn and what should I look for. the top is about 8 inches from the light.

Bin them over to lower the canapé that way you wont burn them, Yull actualy get more bud try to get the main stalk lower than the bend.....also what I do is set up a fan to blow the area between the bulb and the plants.....hope that helps.

You can always buy chicken wire and make some type of temporary scrog to hold the canopy down...
