New grower i topped my plant the other day and im not sure if i did it right

you topped it
you will have 2 tops from there looks ok nothing wrong
maybe next time you might wanna try fimming
its somewhat like topping but you have a chance to end up with more than 2 tops
and if you cut too much itll be just topped too little and itll just be the same one top

You did the topping well, your plant should grow at all the nodes beneath the cut point now.
