LED Autoflower Grow In Coco - Fastbuds & Dinafem Genetics

Hello!
This will be our first grow journal in these forums, we're looking forward to it!
We're at the end of week 1 with these young ladies. Fed half strength Clonex and pHd water until now, will be getting their first veg nutes later tonight. The strains are:

FastBuds-
Tangiematic
Girl Scout Cookies
Gorilla Glue
West Coast OG

Dinafem-
Industrial Plant CBD auto
OG Kush auto

Most of these strains we have grown before and have gotten great results. This grow consists mostly of our favorite smokes with a few new girls for variety. The new strains are Gorilla Glue, Tangiematic and West Coast OG.

The seedlings are under 2 CXB3590s dimmed down to about 50 watts each for now. Soon more light will be added.

Plants are in 2.5 gallon fabric pots, DIY by bae. Coco is the medium and the plants sit on plastic ventilated shelving that is on top of plastic storage tubs. We will hand feed the plants a few more days then set them up on our automated drip system. The run off falls through to the plastic tubs, which we empty with a shop vac every so often.

Week 2 Update

We went through and topped all the girls at the 3rd node. Gorilla Glue grew her first set of leaves fused together, so she topped herself at the first node. Not ideal, but not a big deal.
The COBs have been turned up to full power, pulling 200 watts at the wall. We also added one of our 240 Watt LEDs in veg mode.
Been feeding half strength veg nutes for the past 5 days. They are now on the automated feed system, should be feeding 4 times a day.

Day 19 Update

My first grow with autos, I expected them to be meek little creatures. They took over my grow room and ran amok.
My second auto grow, we tried gently training them and for the most part they were better contained, but the stronger plants did as they pleased again.
This time I'm done being the nice guy. They've been topped at the third node and we're going to give manifolding a shot. They stretched early on, especially the OG strains. So they've all come out a little differently, check em out.
We've got most of the lights going in the grow room now.
We have a GrowAnt G5Pro we'll be trying out this grow. We used it in flower on our White Widow and it performs well so far. We're looking forward to seeing what it can do full run. Really like the IR and UV heavy spectrum. I'll break down more on the light later on.

Day 36

We continue to defoliate our topped Autos. The plants are responding nicely and several are close to flower. Industrial Plant CBD auto throwing pistils. She's followed by OG Kush Auto and Tangiematic. West coast OG is slightly behind that, Girl Scout Cookies is short and stocky and Gorilla Glue is the runt of the litter. We grow all our autos from seed and see a lot of variation in plant size, especially in our multi strain grow.

GrowAnt hooked us up with one of their remotes. This is a game changer. The touch screen is a little finicky on these guys, and it really discouraged me from changing the spectrum or making other adjustments unless I had to. With the remote, it's simple to adjust the exact percentage from 1-100 prevent of five independent spectrum channels, including one for UV and IR. I have the GrowAnt at full power on all spectrums now, and will probably remain so until late flower. If your have a GrowAnt or are considering one, send the extra twenty bucks for the remote, you'll thank yourself later.

Day 49
Back with another update on our topped Autos.
We got lax on OG Kush her Defoliation and she has gotten massive, especially for a topped auto. She's in early flower, canopy could be more even but I still see a high producer here. I knew she wouldn't let me down.

Also in flower is Industrial Plant CBD auto, her canopy trained pretty well and she's already stacking pretty good, even on transition nutes.

The one complicated things about multi strain grows on a single res, the autos flower at different times. We haven't had a problem yet. In fact, it tends to increase our Yields because the strains that finish later get increasingly more light to themselves.

Tangiematic is the next and she'll be followed by West Coast OG. Looks like Girl Scout Cookies will follow and Gorilla Glue still the little one.

The photos were all taken right after some hard Defoliation, so please pardon the sex hair the girls have.
