I have a 400 watt led light, 80 led at 5 watt, Had a driver go bad that ran 27 of the leds and cant make out info on paper tag on driver, so can any one help or suggest what driver I need. Thank you
Actual draw is about 180 watts and there is three drivers, 2-27 leds each, 1-28 leds. Contacted manufacture and don't want to wait for a month to come from china.
Okay, if the LED's are wired in series, end to end. Then you need to look for a 60watt driver that averages 70-80 volts at 700mA. It may have a range like 60-90volts with the mean being 75 volts.
The math is 27 LED's x 3 volts each. 3 volts x 0.7amps is 2.1 watts each. 27 LED's x 2.1 watts gives close to 60watts.
