Lighting question?

I have three 600 watt LED lights, the manufacturer of the lights suggest if running the lights over 12 hours to have a 20-minute period in the middle of the day to turn the lights off. Is that normal or is that something I should not do? I am growing purple kush and CB Dutch!

It sounds like your light manufacturer may be having difficulties with thermal management during continuous use. You will need to be able to provide more than 12 hours of uninterrupted light during veg to get best growth.

Yeah, but why 20 min after 12 hours? That's just odd, and very poor engineering. I'd return them if you can. (Or if you can't maybe just put a clip-on fan each of them.)
