A mid-Michigan business is benefiting from the legalization of medical marijuana.
Home Grown Hydroponics opened in Shields back in March.
In its first month, it sold three hydroponic systems. Last month it sold more than one hundred systems.
The owner, Jeffrey Hunter, moved back to his home state of Michigan because of the legalization of medical Marijuana. He had been working in Nevada producing Medical Marijuana.
His new business does not grow marijuana, only provides growing tools to help others do so.
Hydroponic system distributors tell him Michigan is their fastest growing market due to the legalization of medical marijuana.
