There is a bill to take away our employment rights, a bill to give us our employment rights, a bill to take away our gardens and have the State sell us our medicine and one other bill all being heard between 8:00 and 10:00 am in Hearing Room E at the Capitol. Then they will break until 5:00 pm and work again until 8:00.

We need bodies at this event. Our right to grow our own medicine is at stake because of LEO lies and media hype.

There are 34 medical marijuana related bills this session. Last session there was just 1. Think they are trying to keep us busy?;)

Sure like to be there as this is my old Home State. What Oregon is attempting to do, by putting the Medical Cannabis in the States hands for total control, is just wrong.
Maybe they ought to incept a "Sales tax" instead of raising property taxes. or at least be able to pump your own gas!

Public Hearing set for bills regarding patients' ability to work and the state garden that would take away patients' gardens

Where: Hearing Room E, Oregon State Capitol at 900 Court St NE in Salem

Patients and activists need to show up in force to stop bills that allow employers to fire or not hire patients and a bill that establishes a state garden while outlawing patients' personal gardens. Please tell our lawmakers that marijuana should be treated the same as other medicines and that a state garden simply won't work and will only cost our state millions in additional arrests, convictions and jailing of patients.
