Moving toward her goal of creating an alternative health and healing center, Tina Valenti, a caregiver from Fort Collins, will host medical marijuana information sessions to dispel its status as a black sheep in health treatment.
The sessions will cover the forms of medical marijuana; who is considered a candidate for medical marijuana; the conditions that may be alleviated by marijuana; how to use marijuana legally; receiving a doctor's OK; and any questions that are presented.
She will host five upcoming information sessions in Windsor: 1 p.m. today, 1 p.m. Feb. 15, 7 p.m. Feb. 19, 1 p.m. Feb. 22 and 1 p.m. Feb. 28 at Loodles Book Store, 1180 Main St., Suite 1, Windsor. For more information, call (970) 988-3898.
