Ok I have been experimenting with solar ovens and the use of different collectors and lens. found the one the front lens of a Mistubishi big screen tv it's called a frezenel lens to focus the light of 1 square meter into just 4 inch's. I now use metal tray filled with used medium and cover with a pane of glass and set in the focal point and watch the temp. rise this morning it was 425 degrees in the focal point the rest is at 300 degrees. I just rinse with water to remove build up salt. Use welding goggles if you make one they work great for Rice, baking breads,soups, souffeys,hard cooked eggs just like hard boiled, steamed vegies, beans, And sterizing growing medium.

Just finished lunch solar steamed pollack with squash a few herbs EVOO dash salt 20 min. for the squash thinly sliced, then ad the fish on top then cook for 20 min more and done.
